LMU Magazine is the strategic, flagship communications vehicle of Loyola Marymount University that reaches the university’s widest audience and conveys the life and mission of LMU to its extended family: alumni, donors, faculty, staff, friends and members of the Southern California public. The magazine’s mission is to build and maintain a relationship between the university and its constituencies by engaging them with intelligent, sophisticated, provocative and enjoyable content that meets high standards of excellence in professional writing, design and photography.
LMU Magazine engages its readers in a manner consistent with the intellectual, ethical and practical education that is a product of the Ignatian tradition and the foundation of the university itself. LMU Magazine’s content highlights academic achievement, an education founded on the notion of cura personalis — care for whole person — LMU’s institutional commitment to Southern California, and opportunities to engage with the university.
