Origins

Petr Herman’s journey brought him from a small town in the Czech Republic to the megacity of Los Angeles. From a young age, he knew he wanted a life lived internationally and that basketball would be his vehicle.

The origin story of Meghna Singhvi, professor of accounting in the College of Business Administration, started in Udaipur, India, and, after stopovers in Ohio and Kentucky, it brought her to her home in Los Angeles.

You could say Matthew Parsons ’18 took the London train to L.A.: a trip to a college fair in England’s capitol city convinced him LMU was the school for him.
