1944

Byron Dillon [SciEng], after graduating in 1944, received a degree in dentistry from USC School of Dentistry in 1949. He served in World War II and was a captain in the U.S. Air Force, stationed in Argentina and Newfoundland.

1952

Leo Lagasse [SciEng] is co-founder of Medicine for Humanity, a nonprofit organization that provides surgical, medical and gynecologic oncology care to women in Third World countries.

1953

Gerald Flavin [LibArts, Law ’61] and his wife, Judith, live in Sydney. Gerry served on the executive board of the World Federation of Tourist Guide Associations and is a guide for the Australian National Maritime Museum in Sydney.

1956

Edward Gallagher [SciEng] graduated from the Marquette University School of Medicine in 1960 and practiced for 20 years before retiring. Then he changed his work to public health, retiring as director of public health in Riverside County, Calif. His wife, Phyllis, attended Loyola Law School. They have five children and seven grandchildren.

Frederick Lower [LibArts, Law ’64] remembers well the retreats given by Peg Dolan, R.S.H.M., and Thomas O’Malley, S.J., former LMU president. “They both provided reflections that gently tied prayer, liturgy and gentle humor together during a few hours of peaceful insights,” he says.

Mavourneen O’Brien [BusAdm, GradEd ’56], aka “Irish,” would like to be in contact with friends from the classes of 1954–56, including those in ROTC. She lives in Baja California, Mexico. “Although I have multiple sclerosis, my life is full, happy and serene,” she says.

1958

Gary Schouborg [SciEng] and his wife, Nini, have formed a business that provides life coaching, personal communication coaching and editing services (GaryNini.com).

1959

Paul Kim [LibArts] received a master’s degree from Boston College in 1962 and a Ph.D. in economics from Harvard in 1969. He teaches at Korea University Business School in Seoul, Korea. Paul published a book in 2007 titled “The Korean Economy: The Challenges of FDI-led Globalization.”

Michael Mulvihill [SciEng] thanks all the members of the Alumni Relations office “for making the 2009 Golden Lions 50th reunion a great success.”

1962

Timothy Psomas [SciEng] is the 2009–10 chairman of the American Council of Engineering Companies, a Washington, D.C.-based organization of engineering firms.

1966

Rick Scuderi [LibArts] is retired and lives in Santa Clarita, Calif., with his wife, Indira, and two sons Jeremy, 16, and Joshua, 14. Rick was a counselor and director of Disabled Student Programs at Los Angeles Mission College for more than 30 years.

1967

John McGinnis [LibArts, GradCFA ’73] won a special election in December 2009 to fill an open seat on the Long Beach Unified School District board in Long Beach, Calif.

1968

Michael Bressert [LibArts, GradEd ’69] is the principal at La Purísima Concepcion Catholic School in Lompoc, Calif.

Andrew Smith [LibArts] published his 17th book, “Eating History: Thirty Turning Points in the Making of American Cuisine,” in 2009. He teaches food studies at The New School in New York.

1969

Anthony Cole [LibArts] congratulates all Lions of the Class of 1969 who attended their reunion in September 2009. He particularly thanks “Wayne King, for really pushing hard to get a good turnout.”

David Murphy [GradEd] is superintendent of education for the Division of Juvenile Programs of the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, headquartered in Sacramento, Calif.

Ronald Young [GradSciEng] is general manager of the Elsinore Valley Municipal Water District in Lake Elsinore, Calif., and president of the California Association of Sanitation Agencies, headquartered in Sacramento, Calif.

1972

Carlos Lozano [SciEng] is the founder and CEO of ACEL Design Inc., an engineering design services company with offices in Scotts Valley, Calif., and Chennai, India.

Rosemary Maellaro [BusAdm] was named 2009 Educator of the Year by HR Southwest (Human Resources Conference and Exposition).

Christopher Nolan [SciEng] is chief of staff of Mission Hospital Laguna Beach and Mission Viejo. The position includes being chairman of the Medical Executive Committee and leader of the medical staff. He previously served as chief of staff-elect.

1973

Donald De Santis [LibArts] is a principal with LeMaster Daniels, an accounting firm with offices in Washington and Idaho.

1974

Thomas Hanley III [BusAdm] joined Dykema’s Real Estate Practice Group in Los Angeles.

1976

David Cox [BusAdm] is chief financial officer of the Marin Healthcare District in Greenbrae, Calif.

Joseph Dzida [LibArts, Law ’79] is a partner in Callanan, Rogers and Dzida, which focuses on corporate, commercial property, real estate and finance law.

Kevin Coupe [CFA] is the co-author of “The Big Picture: Essential Business Lessons from the Movies,” which examines 60 movies for examples of leadership, marketing, branding and how to survive in the workplace.

Debra Davenport [CFA, GradCFA ’81] designed Jordin Sparks’ red carpet gown for the 2009 Grammy Awards.

Stephen McEveety [CFA], founder of Mpower Pictures and producer of “The Passion of the Christ” and “Bella,” spoke on campus in Juuly 2009 about faith, filmmaking and his Hollywood career.

Lawrence Prior III [SciEng] is president and chief operating officer of ManTech International, based in Fairfax, Va., a provider of technologies and services related to national security.

1978

Michael Finkle [BusAdm] was appointed judge in the Northeast Division of King County (Wash.) District Court by King County council members. He also is an adjunct law professor at Seattle University.

1979

Mary (Cassidy) Keith [BusAdm] owns Global Purchasing Syndicate (www.thegpsllc.com), which specializes in customized promotional business items.

Lillian (Suffolk) Kilroy [LibArts, GradEd ’81] joined the staff of AG Newcomb & Co., a strategic consulting firm in the Washington, D.C., area.

Mike McGovern [GradSciEng] is a licensed civil engineer for The Moote Group in Santa Ana, Calif., and is responsible for directing all development projects.

Norma Provencio [BusAdm] joined the Board of Directors of Beazer Homes USA, headquartered in Atlanta. She is president and owner of Provencio Advisory Services Inc., a healthcare financial and operational consulting firm, in Covina, Calif.

1981

Jeanne (Hess) Almaraz [LibArts] completed her Ph.D. in management in 1999 at UC Irvine and teaches at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. She and her husband, Marce Almaraz [SciEng ’80, GradBusAdm ’91], live in Newport Beach, Calif., and have three daughters: Elizabeth, Emily and Erin.

Charles Housewright [LibArts] is the principal at Simi Valley Adult School, in Simi Valley, Calif.

Raul Salinas [BusAdm] and Maria Salinas [BusAdm ’87] were named 2009 Local Heroes of the Year by Union Bank and KCET to mark Hispanic Heritage month in October 2009 at the 12th Annual Local Heroes Awards Program at KCET.

1983

Elizabeth “Biz” Allen [LibArts] married Scott Allen on Oct. 25, 2009, in San Juan Capistrano, Calif. Three LMU Jesuits, Patrick Cahalan, S.J., Richard Rolfs, S.J., and David “Ted” Fisher, S.J., presided over the wedding. Several LMU alumni attended the celebration.

Dawn Meyerriecks [GradSciEng] is deputy director of National Intelligence for Acquisition and Technology in the Office of the Director of National Intelligence in Washington, D.C.

John Sullivan [LibArts] and his partner, Willie Brown, were married in San Jose, Calif., on June 6, 2009. Also present were Cecilia (O’Brien) Jackson [LibArts ’88], Pam Rector [LibArts ’77], Regina Rosenzweig [LibArts ’82], Laurie Stewart [BusAdm] and Cecilia Sullivan-Powers [LibArts ’88].

1984

Marc Emmer [BusAdm] is founder of Optimize Inc., a strategic consulting firm in Valencia, Calif. His book titled “Intended Consequences,” about strategic thinking in the business world, was published in 2009 by Optimize (www.optimizeinc.net).

Damian Ganczewski [CFA] was nominated for a 2009 Emmy for his work on the Lifetime movie “Prayers for Bobby,” which received a nomination for outstanding made-for-TV movie.

Lesley Leighton [CFA] was honored by USC for outstanding accomplishments in choral music through the Remarkable Women 2009 Awards. She has accepted the position as assistant conductor of the Los Angeles Chorale, starting in July 2010.

Edward Panconi [LibArts] is president and chief operating officer of American Medical Billing Solutions in Pasadena, Calif.

Julia Vedgedani [CFA] left the United States for her native country, Iran, in March 1985 and has lived there ever since.

1985 It’s Your Reunion Year!

David Cibrian [BusAdm] was appointed to the Finance Commission of Texas by Gov. Rick Perry. The commission oversees the regulation of financial institutions chartered or licensed under state law.

Mustafa Demirbag [SciEng] is general manager of Maui County for the Gas Co. in Hawaii.

Donna LaVoie [LibArts] is associate dean in the College of Arts and Sciences at Saint Louis University in St. Louis.

Jon Peters [SciEng] was appointed captain of LAPD’s Pacific area, which includes Venice and Westchester. He started his new position in January and has been with LAPD since 1987.

Paul Villa [LibArts] and Kristen Molina [LibArts ’92] were married on March 13, 2010.

1986

Nita Causey [LibArts] and her husband, Paul, have been married for 18 years. They have two children, Christopher and Carina. They live in Brea, Calif., where she is involved with the PTA, the liturgy and welcoming ministry at St. Angela Merici Catholic Church, and other organizations.

Devery Holmes [GradBusAdm] works for Spark Alliance Marketing, in Calabasas, Calif., a new division of Norm Marshall & Associates.

Cynthia Hunt [GradBusAdm] is on the Women’s Executive Committee of the Illionis Certified Public Accountants Society. She acts as a liaison to the CPA Endowment Fund, which offers Advancing Women in Accounting Scholarships to promising, talented students residing and attending school in Illinois.

Kenny Lund [BusAdm] received a 20-year lapel pin for support operations at the Allen Lund Co., located in La Cañada Flintridge, Calif.

JulieAnn Mills-Testi [CFA], who has arthrogryposis multiplex congenita, trained herself to paint by holding a brush with her feet. She works in a variety of media, including, charcoal, etching, lithograph, oil, and pastels. Her work can be seen on her website (julieanntesti.com).

1987

Braeden William was born to Anne (Schoeberl) Kennedy [SciEng, GradBusAdm ’90] and Bill Kennedy [LibArts] on Oct. 25, 2009.

Margaret Serjak [BusAdm] was elected in July 2009 to the Board of Directors of The Wellness Community Valley/Ventura, in Westlake Village, Calif., which provides free programs of support and education to people with cancer and their families.

Scott Tarman [LibArts] and Michele Alcaraz [LibArts ’97] were married on Jan. 3, 2009.

1988

Charlie Joan was born to Trisha Crissman [LibArts] and Mark Bishop on May 10, 2009.

Randall Lococo [BusAdm] is a district court magistrate for Colorado’s 19th Judicial District (Weld County), presiding over dependency and domestic matters.

Jim Warner [LibArts] reports that his online charitable partnership, RibbonTones LLC, offers its first cell phone ring tone for sale to benefit organizations supporting breast cancer awareness, research and programs.

1989

Jean Ayala [LibArts, GradEd ’92] was celebrated as Teacher of the Year at Walnut Elementary School in Baldwin Park, Calif.

Mark Donovan [BusAdm] is senior vice president for mobile products at comScore, based in Reston, Va.

Jon Ekoniak [BusAdm] and his family moved from the Bay Area to Greenwood Village, Colo., in November 2009. Jon is vice president of strategy at Oracle, based in Redwood Shores, Calif.

Victoria Tellem [CFA] is a contributor to The New York Times and Edmunds.com, as well as Hot Rod, Jp, Car Craft and Diesel Power magazines. She is also a script and speechwriter, as well as a writer of Twitter’s @40somethings.

1991

Evan Brenner [GradCFA] wrote and performed in “The Buddha Play,” which opened on Sept. 26, 2009, at Baruch Performing Arts Center at Baruch College. He is a veteran writer and actor in New York independent film and theater.

Clayton Brust [LibArts, Law ’94] is secretary of the Washoe County Bar Association in Reno, Nev., for 2009–10. He is a partner at Robison, Belaustegui, Sharp and Low, also in Reno.

Christopher Louie [SciEng] took seventh place in the relay event of the Los Angeles Triathlon in October 2009. The triathlon was an Olympic-distance race that started in Venice and finished in downtown Los Angeles.

1992

Magdalena Rajani was born to Cecelia Aguilar-Ortiz [LibArts] and Daniel Aguilar-Ortiz on July 27, 2009.

Penelope London was born to Tony Brown [CFA] and Gwen Brown on Oct. 3, 2009.

Corey Calaycay [BusAdm] is a city council member in Claremont, Calif., and ran in June for the California State Assembly. He has more than 10 years of experience working for the California Legislature.

Jacqueline Creedon [BusAdm] has been accepted in the master’s in civil engineering program of Villanova University, in Villanova, Pa.

Elizabeth Clare Mendoza was born to Laura Frodsham [BusAdm] and Perry Mendoza [LibArts] on July 13, 2009.

Masroor Malik [SciEng] was named vice president of business operations for Turn Inc., based in Redwood City, Calif., in August 2009.

Theresa (Smith) Berry [LibArts] and her husband, David Berry [LibArts ’92, GradEd ’96], hosted a badminton tournament in their backyard in Vista, Calif., in June 2009 that drew many of their LMU friends.

Faith DeVeaux [LibArts] is producing a feature-length documentary called “Double Victory: Two Warriors in the Fight for Civil Rights During WWII,” which will be released this year.

Eric Hakmiller [GradBusAdm] is vice president and general manager of Bunge Biofuels, based in White Plains, N.Y., and is on the Board of Directors for Bunge North America.

Robert Larioza [BusAdm] is the chief operating officer of Base Performance, in Alamo, Calif., a provider of premier supplement products for endurance athletes and others.

Carmen Marquez [BusAdm] joined Terri Hilliard Estate Planning and Mediation, specializing in family estate planning and service to the Hispanic community in the Conejo Valley, in Southern California.

Efrem “Van” Partible [CFA] created “Johnny Bravo,” one of Cartoon Network’s old-school classics. Johnny Bravo is part Elvis, part James Dean and all buffoon. Season One is due to be released on DVD in June 2010.

Charles Palafox [CFA] spent the past five years working on the film “Avatar” as the behind-the-scenes cameraman. He works for Lightstorm Entertainment, James Cameron’s production company.

Grace Swanson [CFA] had her work shown at the Santa Monica TAG Gallery’s “Favorites” exhibition on March 27, 2010. Her watercolor and acrylic painting are featured in “The Artistic Touch 4” and “Best of America Watermedia Artists Vol. 2.”

1997

Festus Asuamah [GradEd] was ordained, consecrated and enthroned as bishop of the Anglican Diocese of Sunyani in Ghana.

Jason Cagle [LibArts] practices law with Griffith Nixon Davison, P.C., where he is director of the firm, in Dallas. He and his wife, Faye, welcomed their son, Christopher Lyman, into their family on May 15, 2009.

Christina was born to Teresa (Piumetti) Ghermezian [LibArts, GradEd ’05] and Steve Ghermezian [GradBusAdm ’05] on Oct. 28, 2008.

Sharon Lima [SciEng] and Wolfgang Stefan were married on July 11, 2009.

Jon Majarucon [GradEd] was named “Chaplain of his Holiness,” an honorary post accompanied by the title of monsignor, by Pope Benedict XVI. Monsignor Majarucon is pastor of Santa Clara Parish in Oxnard, Calif., and dean of Deanery XIII in the Santa Barbara region of the Los Angeles Archdiocese.

Emily Scherberth [CFA] celebrated the one-year anniversary of her company, Symphony PR & Marketing, Inc. in Santa Monica, Calif. She also has been teaching public relations at LMU for three years.

Thomas Skinner [BusAdm] and his family live in suburban Connecticut. He works with Hertz Co.’s independent franchise operators. He also is involved with Delta Sigma Pi, a business fraternity open to men and women, which he joined in April 1994.

Magdalena Rose was born to Deborah Williams-Stiffler [LibArts] and Eric Stiffler on April 24, 2009.

Chad Zdenek [SciEng] finished the New Zealand Ironman Triathlon in 13 hrs., 21 sec. He raced with his sister, Christina, brother, Eric, and friend, David. He was engineering host of “Human Wrecking Balls” and now is the host of “It’s Effin’ Science” on the G4 network.

1998

Christine Caine [SciEng] married Stephen Hiers on Oct. 4, 2008, in Seattle. Their son, Lucas Caine Hiers, was born on March 17, 2009. Stephen is a flight instructor in the U.S. Navy, and they live in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Robert Campbell [BusAdm] and Jenna Mollica were married on Nov. 7, 2009.

Jason De Bord [GradCFA] is the founder of Original Prop Blog LLC and serves as editor in chief and sole contributor to the website.

Caleb Andrew was born to Ryan Eisberg [LibArts] and Debbie Eisberg on July 23, 2009.

Gianna Olivia was born to Amy-Jo (Jesmer) Luna [CFA] and Jeffrey Luna on March 31, 2010.

Dan Radulescu [GradSciEng] graduated with an Executive Juris Doctor degree from Concord Law School of Kaplan University in winter 2010.

Patisepa Villa [BusAdm] married Sioape Manu on Sept. 19, 2009. They live in Bakersfield, Calif. Patisepa is a fifth-grade teacher at Casa Loma Elementary School. They have three beautiful children: Jocelyn, Matthew and Frankie.

1999

Steve Guerrero [CFA] and Miriam Hendrick were married on Aug. 8, 2008. Steve also won two Los Angeles Area Emmy Awards, one as a producer and the other for Outstanding Graphic Design, in August 2009.

Jacob Myles was born to Adrian Lagman [BusAdm] and Elizabeth Lagman on March 29, 2009.

Kathleen Lungren [CFA] and six LMU alumnae volunteered for the Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure, a 60-mile walk to benefit breast cancer research, in San Francisco this past October.

Mark Reynado [BusAdm] married Janet Fame on July 7, 2007, in Sacred Heart Chapel. Alumni who attended included Armand Dichosa [SciEng ’94], Franco Marenin [BusAdm], Bridget Palanca [BusAdm ’92], Andrew Reynado [BusAdm ’05] and Jorge Sandoval [BusAdm].

Patricia (Espinoza) Rios [BusAdm] earned a master’s degree in organizational leadership from Woodbury University in Burbank, Calif., in August 2009.

Dara (Freimann) Riordan [CFA] and Matthew Riordan [BusAdm ’03] welcomed their daughter Ryley Anna on July 15, 2008. She was born on the birthday of Teresa (Heagerty) Jones [CFA], who was Dara’s best friend and roommate all four years at LMU.

Juliana Serrano [LibArts] was appointed by Los Angeles Mayor Anthony Villaraigosa to the Relocation Appeals Board. Juliana is director of operations and co-founder of ENCOMPASS, in Monrovia, Calif., which educates youth about responsibility and diversity.

Julie Vidosh [CFA] married Bradley Kreutz on April 25, 2009, in Scottsdale, Ariz. Eleven LMU alumni were present at the wedding.

2002

Jeffery Agner [LibArts] and MaryAlice Cackler [LibArts ’06] were married on Aug. 14, 2009.

Amy Allen [CFA] toured with “Wicked” for two years around the East Coast and Midwest. Now she is getting her master’s degree in dance at UC Irvine and plans to teach dance to college students.

Kristopher Belman [SFTV] is the director of “More Than a Game,” a feature-length documentary that follows LeBron James, now of the Cleveland Cavaliers, and his childhood best friends as they grew up in Akron, Ohio.

Liam Kevin was born to Beth (Van Brussel) Calkins [CFA] and Kevin Calkins on Dec.9, 2009.

Chris Danison [BusAdm] and Tamara Chestna were married on Oct. 4, 2008.

Stephanie Fryer [BusAdm] recently merged her interior design firm with that of a dear friend and design colleague to form Grace Blu Designs Inc. in Orange County, Calif. Stephanie Jones [BusAdm, GradBusAdm ’03] is a regional accountant with Enterprise Community Investment in Columbia, Md. She married Lee Stenson in 2002. Stephanie and Lee have a daughter, Alexandra.

Yvette (Cunha) Naas [CFA] is a graphic designer at Duarte Design in Mountain View, Calif. Yvette married Trevor Naas on May 18, 2007, in Santa Cruz, Calif. They welcomed their first daughter, Avery Elizabeth, on June 8, 2009.

Seth Pevnick [GradEd] began his post as Richard E. Perry Curator of Greek and Roman Art at the Tampa Museum of Art, in Tampa, Fla., in September 2009.

Sharon Pierce [GradBusAdm] launched a business called Smarty Crafts, based in Mason, Ohio, with her sister-in-law. The company produces a craft and activity kit each month for parents and their 3- to 6-year-old children.

Emma Elizabeth was born to Julie (Hladik) Reid [BusAdm] and Sean Reid [BusAdm] on Jan. 7, 2010.

Anita Udeep [GradSFTV] released her first film, “Kulir 100°,” in the Tamil language, in 2009. She also scripted and directed “Knock, Knock, I am Looking to Marry,” an Indian-English feature film, in 2003.

Hannah Macpherson [SFTV] has a new web series called “Date Doctor TV.” Hannah invites her fellow alumni to give her feedback on her web series by joining the show’s Facebook group at www.datedoctortv.com.

Julie Moore [CFA] is in the doctoral program in forensic psychology at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology in Los Angeles. She works as a fundraising researcher for Childrens Hospital Los Angeles while attending school on the weekends.

Peter Oswald [SFTV] showed students at J.E. Cosgriff Memorial School in Salt Lake City in October 2009 how to draw characters from movies and shows he has worked on, including “Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs,” “Madagascar 2” and “Johnny Bravo.”

Lauren A. Dorsett [SFTV] is the new anchor for Sarasota, Fla., TV channel ABC 7. Lauren was an anchor and health reporter at WTXL in Tallahassee, Fla., prior to being hired at ABC 7 TV News. She began her reporting career at KECI in Missoula, Mont.

2005 It’s Your Reunion Year!

Sara Hoffman [SciEng] will begin a genetic counseling master of science program at the UC Irvine School of Medicine in the fall. The two-year program is based in the Division of Human Genetics at the UC Irvine Medical Center in Orange, Calif.

Zoe Winkler [CFA] and Rob Reinis were married on June 27, 2009.

Margaret Bourque [CFA] is a 2009 graduate of Teton Science Schools’ Graduate Program in Jackson Hole, Wyo. She studied place-based education and environmental field science, teaching outside in all four seasons and living in a log cabin in Grand Teton National Park.

Eric Bradley [SciEng] was chosen from 600 applicants to represent his company, Southern California Edison, in a commercial that was aired on Lifetime, BET, MTV, TVL, SPK, VH1 and TBSC from June to September 2009.

Ah (Young) Chi [GradEd] is a college and career counselor at Malibu High School in the Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School District. Ah works with students, parents and faculty in the college planning application process.

Brittany Bond [CFA] married Matthew Petrone, a graduate from LMU’s PLACE Corps, in 2009. Many LMU alumni attended the ceremony, including Matthew’s father, Michael Petrone [BusAdm ’83]. Greg Weiler [LibArts] was best man.

Lauren Burman [LibArts] makes vases to raise money for cancer research in memory of her grandmother, Shirley. The vases, called “Little Shirleys,” are sold at the florist shop owned by Lauren’s mother, Mercer Island Florist, in Mercer Island, Wash.

Mahina Cumpston [BusAdm] married Lucas Sayin [BusAdm ’08] on June 13, 2009, at Sacred Heart Chapel. Eleven LMU alumni were in attendance.

Ashley Diestel [LibArts] is director of public affairs for the LAX Coastal Area Chamber of Commerce in Los Angeles.

Robert Geminder [GradEd], a Holocaust survivor, was inducted into the Allderdice Hall of Fame at Allderdice High School in Pittsburgh on Sept. 24, 2009. His article about pursuing a master’s degree at 72 appeared in Vistas (Fall 2008) and can be found at magazine.lmu.edu.

Lane Harper [BusAdm] is a U.S. Marine Corps officer deployed in Afghanistan.

Kate Conrath [GradEd] was one of five candidates in the December 2009 school board race of the Long Beach Unified School District, in Long Beach, Calif. She is a middle school teacher in the Los Angeles Unified School District.

Jordan Downey [SFTV] co-wrote and produced a horror/comedy called “Thankskilling.” The feature was completed for less than $10,000.

Emilia Sebastiani [LibArts] has joined her family’s business as director of Mia’s Kitchen in Sonoma, Calif., developing a product line that includes wine reduction sauces for cooking.

Mary Setterholm [LibArts] owns and operates the Surf Academy in Santa Monica, Calif., where she and 80 full-time staffers teach hundreds of kids each year how to ride the waves.

Molly Weber [BusAdm] joined the Jesuit Volunteer Corps Northwest and is working in Anchorage, Alaska.
